Tenth meeting: Lesson 8, Ii heya desune. (This was a nice room)
This week lesson is continuing from
previous lesson which we learnt about the things might be in the room and its
proposition.
What things are there in the room?
たな /tana = cupboard にんぎょう /ningyoo = doll
はこ /hako = box テーブル /teeburu = table
カップ /kappu = cup ほん /hon = book
しゃしん /shashin = picture とけい /tokee = clock
Proposition, there is only 4 that we’ve learnt:
うえ /ue = above/ on なか /naka = in
した /shita = below/ under よこ /yoko = beside
To apply those terms, we played a
game that I can call as “Doko desuka?” (where should I put it?). On this game,
someone will ask to help him/her to tidy up his/her room. So, this is the
example:
A :
とけいは どこ ですか? “tokee wa doko desuka?” (where should I
put this clock?)
B :
たな の うえに おねがいします。 “tana no ue ni onegaishimasu.” (inside
the box please.)
A :
たな の うえ ですね。 “tana no ue
desune.” (inside the box right.)
B :
はい。 “hai.” (yes.)
A :
わかりました。 “wakarimashita” (alright.)
After that, we are practicing how to react in Japanese way when
visit to someone place. Everyone with partner will say what in the book and
additional note given by sensee. The conversation:
